    The Carriage House Inn is seeking an experienced Corporate Sales Manager to join our busy sales team.
    This position reports directly to the Director of Sales and Marketing and is responsible for effectively managing existing accounts, as well as prospecting and securing new business, for this independent property with extensive meeting and function space and 157 guestrooms.

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
    - Sell guestrooms and meeting space
    - Meet monthly sales objectives
    - Manage accounts
    - Conduct site inspections
    - Solicit and generate new business in a professional manner

    - Weekly prospecting of potential corporate accounts and TMCs.
    - Prepare and present proposals and agreements
    - Maintain well organized and updated documentation and reports
    - Prepare weekly or monthly reports as required
    - Participate in sales and other staff meetings
    - Attend trade shows when required
    - Plan, prepare for and execute effective sales trips in assigned markets and report results accordingly. - Ability to travel to various regions within Canada and the US for sales trips and trade shows.

    Job Description:

    The Carriage House Inn is seeking a creative and friendly individual to fill our in-house graphic designer and administrative position. The ideal candidate would be someone with strong graphic design skills and administrative experience.  An individual, who is personable, possesses strong attention to detail and is computer savvy. The ideal candidate will report to the General Manager while working closely with department executives to solve and create visual solutions and provide administrative support to various departments within the property.

    Requirements:

    • Minimum 1 year experience as a professional Graphic Designer or similar

    • Minimum 1 year administrative experience or similar

    • Working knowledge in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Publisher & Outlook

    • Strong working knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite

    • Hospitality knowledge and/ or experience is considered an asset

    • Strong Production knowledge and hands on experience for printing projects in-house and file preparation for printers.

    • Excellent customer service and communication skills- verbal and written

    • Working knowledge of a wide range of media; including photography, web design and video

    • Committed to company values and to the success of the entire organization

    • Producing visual solutions to communicate the needs of all departments by using a mix of creative skills and commercial awareness. This includes initial creative concepts, graphic design, and print production in both print and digital media.

    • Creation and development of marketing materials under the direction of the Food & Beverage Director and Director of Sales & Marketing. Ads, manuals, brochures, coupons, templates, menus, posters, tickets, etc. for internal and external purposes.

    • Preparing accurate digital and/or pre-press files, resulting in timely, high quality and cost effective output. Working with print and production companies to manage and ensure materials are printed correctly and on time.

    • Create and maintain tracking spreadsheets for gift certificates and promotional purposes. As necessary

    • Hotel trends monthly revenue reports and weekly Revinate email uploads for the property

    • Administrative event organizing, coordination and planning for large volume events (Mother’s Day Brunch and Mystique New Year’s Eve)

    • Social media accounts management and marketing ( Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, Facebook)

    • Website maintenance via Toolbox (Loading new images, text, creative materials and promotional packages)

    • Designing and developing marketing collateral for all departments and assisting with administrative support as required.

    • Using ME Pro/ Optec Displays software to create and manage marketing material on the exterior Marquee LED display board. Including schedule maintenance.
